In the public eye

Everyone has imagined what if they were famous. Surrounded by luxury, having the attention of the people and doing almost whatever they want. It could be an amazing experience but, is it worth enough?

From my viewpoint, I also have imagined myself if I were a recognized person. All of it is idealized and we do not think how being in the public eye really is. If we take a look to the celebrities of nowadays, we would see that they are happy with all the privileges that are given to them. However, that’s public life; their private life is non-existent for them.

If I have now to imagine myself as a famous person, I would not look it as something positive. Negative, instead. All the things I would do would be gossip and therefore I wouldn’t have private life. That’s why I appreciate the everyday routine of ourselves because it is private in its own self, and being in the public eye would destroy that state of happiness.

There are things that we ordinary people enjoy in more extent than the famous people, such as going out to have a drink with your friends. If you are famous you can’t go anywhere without drawing the attention of people. The feeling of going out and seeing and meeting new people is better than any other luxury. The same happens with the beach. I love to go to the beach on summer and if I were in the public eye, it would be more difficult: everyone would know where I live, where I go or when I leave my house, and then follow me.
