A letter to a friend

Hi Marcus!

I usually don’t write any letters but it is the only way to talk with you. How is your life going? Mine’s good, I am studying English in the University of Murcia:

I am writing to you because my mother brought your name up the other day, and started thinking “I have to retake the friendship”. So, as I said, I am doing my degree in English Studies and it is very interesting. The course didn’t started as I imagined and I almost gave up, but after some days I got along with everybody in my class and already went to parties with them.

 I am also learning a lot of English outside the university. I usually hang out with native students of my class so I can interact with them in English. Also, I am preparing my C1 exam in an academy and they make me to look up for every new expression so I can remember it. Moreover, I am starting to watch films and series in their original version in order to develop my listening abilities

It has been a lot since we met the last time and we should meet one day. How is your degree doing? Are you working it out? I’m looking forward to seeing you
