Why I decided to play an instrument pt3

The last time I talk about how I started playing the ukelele, and now I will show you why I began to play the piano.
It was 2013 when I discovered some piano songs that where fantastic and awesome, like "Una Mattina" of Ludovico Einaudi, so I was in love with the piano and I wanted to learn to play it from scratch. The unique problem was that I did not have a piano, and if I bought one, I would spent a lot of money. HOwever,  it was my uncle, who is in the world of music since he was little, the one who borrowed me his old keyboard to start learning notes, chords, and songs.
I was really surprised and thankful because of that gesture. From that time, I'm keeping learning new songs that I discover and those songs that I wanted to play. I don't stop playing because is one of the most relaxing and peaceful things that a person can do; I transmit my feelings, and this helps me to stay positive against any kind of problem. I would totally recommend to play piano to relax and feel the real person who is inside of you.

Trendy fashions

Today's new world has a lot of things that determine our lifestyle. Nowadays, the fashion industries have a lot of importance, because we tend to buy every single clothes or shoes that the market carry out. The fashion nowadays is dressing up in an informal way, but with trendy clothes, like sneakers from Nike, vintage t-shirts and sweaters, and some skinny trousers. The people who wear this need to tick in the society, a totally waste of time (and money).

In my case, I sometimes wear sneakers, but I only have two pairs when there are people younger than me with more than seven pairs. Therefore, the best way to be stylish (for me) is with smarter clothes, shirts, jackets, etc... The unique problem is the fact that this clothes are expensive, although there are thousands of sells in the Internet that allows you to buy cheaper clothes. I hope that someday the suits get back to the society like in the sixties, because it´s rather important to be classy than showy.

Why I decided to play an instrument pt2

The last time I wrote about how I startedto play the guitar, and now I'll explain how I began to play the ukelele.
It was september in 2013 when I felt bored because of the routine. I was stucked in a rut  and I needed something new to my life. In that time I listened to songs which has the sound of a ukelele and I always thought "it could be funny to play that little instrument!" Thanks to what I had said, my desire to have and play an ukelele increased so much that my parents, in the 6th of january, gave one. I was really amazed! I could finally play the songs I like, without any difficulty!I kept playing it in 2014 all the year; its sound is really funny, relaxing and beautiful.
Most people ask me in a strange way if I really play the ukelele, and I proudly say yes, that I learnt by myself. It is not a common instrument like the trumpet or the violin which a lot of people play. Ukelele is different, it gives you a touch of interest and coolness.

The change

Time is gold, and there´s anything better than having time to do what you want, to be what you want. In my childhood I spent my afternoons playing videogames with my best friend in that period. We always met to play on his ps3, and we had fantastic moments playing a lot of video games! In the mornings I did not use to go out because I spent the monings doinng my homework because I wanted to have fun later.

While I was growing up, I realized that the most important thing is not just the video games, but the time you spend doing what you like. A few years ago, in 2010, I started lefting the video games only for myself, and I started going ou with my groups of friends. In the mornings we met to play football, in the afternoon to go to somewhere, and in the night we used to stay in someone's house to see a film. I sometimes take a look in those year and think "how amazing was that".

In the last 3 years,  everything changed: I changed my group,  I changed my hobbies, and I changed my way of being. Im not saying thatI changed in a badly way, but in a better one. For me, at the age of 15, I considered myself as a grown person (but it isn't), so I began to have more friends from the beach, the high school, from my new group and even from other parts of Spain (thanks to the social networks). I went to my first parties, which where superb and awesome. 

But it was in 2014 when I decided to change myself by putting contact lenses and getting fit. I gain a lot of self confidence which I appreciate everyday, because before that I  was a very shy boy who couldn't do the things that he wanted. Nowadays, I miss the oportunities that I had, but, I have the rest of my life to do what I really want.

Why I decided to play an instrument

The music is the key to our soul. It is the most common way to express feelings, either you listen at it or you just play an instrument. That's why I decided to start transmit my feelings.

I was eleven years old when I discovered the rock, heavy and grunge music. This does not mean that I didn’t listen some kinds of music like these before I was 11, it means that I realized how good it was. Anyway, I totally felt down in love with rock music; I listened when I was motivated, sad, depressed, angry, etc... But it was with Nirvana where I recognized that the guitar was awesome, and I thought that I could play their songs by myself!

Depart from that moment, I started playing the guitar; the first time was difficult, and a little bit strange, but when I got the drift, it was easy and fun. I learned to play songs from Nirvana, ACDC, Green Day, Artic Monkeys, etc... Now I keep playing it, but I don't have enough free time because of the university. 

In 2012, I played it in a party once, it was fantastic! The adrenaline of playing your favorite instrument, while there are people enjoying your music, is an experience that everyone should have.

The value of education

Today’s education is being criticized in all its aspect. Some people say that it has taken some levels of decadence: the way to teach and to learn changed unfortunately, making kids and young people of today not be a part of a good society in the future. And the rest of the people don’t care about the future lives and the educational system, that’s why most of well-known linguistics are expressing their opinion against the actual way of teaching.

Before our time, the education was simple: its purpose was just to make kids and young people attracted to the things that they were shown. The education was a tool to create an intelligent society with their own critical thought. But, only a few people maintain this philosophy. Nowadays the only thing that cares is to obtain the “good” life that someone told us. That’s how education evolves to an assembly methods and techniques, and the intellect is degraded.

Otherwise, we can be fortunate because of the technology we have: all the information of today breaks the amount of data of the last century. But because there’s a lot of information, it does not mean that all of them is useful. A future chemist will not obtain his degree putting the more information he can, but with the correct and necessary information. It can be said that, the Internet, is a cult generator.

But, related with technology, is the budget of the educational system. In my country the budget cuts are being disastrous for our students because the government do them for saving money. And also, they are taking away their chance to become what the students want. This makes the massive departure of future workers to other countries, which means that the budget cuts are a double-edged sword for the government. The education is not an expenditure, but an investment.

Another criticized topic of today´s education is the marks system. Students will not learn anything by their hands if a mark determines their future. This makes the students to be unable to have their own thought, and their heads are full with memorized information that will not have value in the future, or, in common situations, will be forgotten.

In brief, in spite of the type of education we have, the REAL purpose of education is clear and forceful: to educate citizens, fortifying them in the basics requirements of learning, giving the importance to the knowledge, abilities and values. We have the future in our hands, and we are going to fight for it.

Techno

One of the most important advantages we have nowadays is the new technology. With it, our life has been improving since the las century. Laptops, smartphones, televisions, computer games… All of them evolved since their creation, making us fortunate about what we have in our lives.

Technology used to be something difficult; only experts and scientist could afford and work with it. But the evolution has made the younger people to work and enjoy by their hand. It’s normal to see some groups of teenagers with phones or tablets; they communicate with each other by those gadgets, they work through computers and spend the free time browsing on the Internet. However, browsing on phones or tablets has reached the limit of saturation: adults, teenagers, and even kids are hooked with the social networks today.

Stalking Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram is the routine that they have. When some friends are in group, they don’t see their faces, only the screen of the phones. They are losing the values of having fun without neither phones nor Internet in such a way. The kids of today are not going to be well educated if they always have an electronic gadget, because it creates ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). Not only kids, adults and even the elderly people are addicted to digital camera phones.

As I see it, the addiction creates a person who’s not you, it makes you feel anxious and lonely if you are not connected. But a connected phone is also helpful to keep in contact with the person who is far away from you (in my opinion). I can say it’s a reliable help, because I can contact my girlfriend from where she lives. Technology is not just an issue, it’s also a chance to stay with your people even though they are away.

Young "adults"

 It is fact that the teenagers are growing too much fast, they think that they are adults, but this is not true. Young people nowadays have more freedom and possibilities than the teenagers   from the XXth century. There are festivals and parties which are intended to teenagers, but they don’t act like young persons. Alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, and others drugs are taken by them, thinking that they are having fun and a good time. It’s normal to have one or two glasses of any drink, but some people start to drink until the end of the world, which is the worst idea ever. And also with other drugs, they must not do any kind of drug.

This happens in every party, they start to damage their health and life badly only for having a good time. In my opinion, there are thousands of methods which allows you to have a good time without drinking or smoking, for example, a walk with some friends, a meeting for running, or just to go to someone´s house to play videogames. “Healthy” plans are easier than going to drinking and smoking, at least, if you don’t damage yourself, you feel happier and prouder with your life.

There aren’t any particular tips for staying healthy, you only need an exercise routine twice or three times a week (as I do), and you will need a good alimentation; I’m not saying that you can’t have food like burgers, pizza or chocolate, I mean that you have to eat all kind of food, even if you don’t like it! Anyway, you can go out and have a drink, but thinking always about the consequences.

The horror

I confirm, I'm a film lover. I like to watch any kind of film... Well, not all, the overly-romantic films are my kryptonite. I just can't hold them! One type of film, I particularly like is the horror ones. I was terrified when I was young, but when I grew, I caught more and more fascination to see one type for The first time. The first movie I saw was The Thing, which wasn't enough good for me, because it did not scared me at all. The next time I saw one wa s two years later, in 2012 (Insidious). This film made me feel anxious, and obviously, scared so breaking bad. The frights were unexpected and very well worked, I could Not sleep in two days! Since that day I've seen many movies whose storyline is similar as Insidious or Paranormal Activity. The last horror film I watched was The third part of Insidious. Since I watched that, I've said that is one of The best and scariest film. Now, I want to watch more like that, But it's complicated to make a film with those characteristics. There's a new horror film this winter called Krampus... I will comment you how it was!

Star Wars

Since I was a child, I always loved the Star Wars films. It was my father who put the first film of the first trilogy "A New Hope", and when I saw the spaceship appearing in the screen at the beginning, I felt so amazed I had my mouth wide open during that scene. From that moment, I started watching the rest of the movies by myself, and the more I saw them, the more I like them! I don't see them right now, but that´s because the projects and works that I have.
The last year I heard a new that would give a shock: there will be a new Star Wars film in the end of 2015. I'm waiting so much for this moment, I think that the film will be fantastic.

FOOD AID

ISSUE

The range of poverty in our country has grown in the last five-six years. Poverty causes the loss of everything, even though the food that we need for living. It is known that in the Third-World the problem is bigger, but we have to help and extract the problem from the root, and then it will be time to help the rest of them. A civilization with all the services, is a happy civilization.

SOLUTION (By Ismael)

I think that we should not waste the money in not so important things like innecesaries constructions like airports or building, and invest in on helping people who really need it. Unfortunately, nowadays we live on a society that doesn't care about others' problems and that is the real problem. We should raise awarness people in order to not waste and help our neighbours.

Sitcoms

Nowadays, there are a lot of programmes in the television, more than before when there was only two channels to watch. In fact, there's a new programme or sitcom every six month, because it's a business that makes so much money; The more audience they have, the more money they win. English sitcoms like The Big Bang Theory, Two And a Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, etc, have so much fans around the world, and there are basic topics, what increase the audience in higher stages. But if we talk about the spanish sitcoms like La Que Se Avecina or Aída, they only have audience in our country, because it´s a kind of sitcoms that can't be translated because of the topics that they make (topics about Spain, like the government). In that case, the spanish sitcoms don't have the same gain than the english sitcoms, what makes them unique.

Games online

So I was yesterday playing some games in Ps3 in the online mode, just like always, but then I realized that there are a wide range of angry and upset people playing the game. I think that there's no point on getting angry if you're playing a videogame, as its name says, it's just a game; it is free to play and you don't get damaged if you lose. Anyway, I also get angry if the situation is not good enough for me, because I don't enjoy my time if I am losing all the time!

However, there are two cases where people get angry or annoye... The first one and the most common, is that you're not motivated to play and the other players overtake you during the match or the game.

The other case is known around the world and it is carried out by lots of people: the trolling. This technique, (if I can call it technique) is just a way to bother a player just for having fun. I recognise that it's a joke in bad taste, but it's quite funny when you do it good.

A music's review

Music is the way that people use to travel to their own world. I was thinking that while I was listening to my favourites songs; why do the song we like transport us to our comfort zone? It's simple, they create strong feelings in our brains, making us happy, or even understanding when we are depressed. There are songs that means everything, however, there are types of songs that could never transmit you anything, for example, "reggaeton" or "dembow", genres that transmit sexual message and are only for pubs. This kind of music is on the rise, and from my opinion, this is alarming.

Guernica

War is no more than a mass murder, and murder is not progress. This quote was pronounced by Alphonse de Lamartine, old french polittician from the eighteenth century, who reflects the crimes, the sorrow, and the injustice in the war. One of the most shocking events during the World War II was the bombardment of Guernica, where the german army bombed intensely this repuclican city of Spain, spreading the horror and the nightmare of the war. The famous painter, Pablo Picasso, carried out a work where this crime was reflected. It was call Guernica, as the city's name. The emotions that this paint transmits are so hard that will make you feel painful, small and anxious. The subject of the work is basically the chaos in the moment that the people were bombed by the german regime. No one can stay more than five minutes thinking how those persons could be in that situation. It's a torture.

Transporter

Last friday I stayed in my house while everyone was in the street, in the center, etc. I was bored so I decided to watch one of my favourites sagas; Transporter. This saga has two sequels of wich I prefer the third episode, because this one has more action and a good story that catchs you since the first minute of the film. In spite of this, the second film was also good beacuse it also has a very good story about the kidnapping of a children whose father is a well-known business man. The first film is not as good as the second and third, because it hasn't got a good argument. The only thing that I like is the landscape where the film was shot; it was shot on the coast of France. When I am free or I don't have to do anything, this saga is the answer to my boredom.

Práctica 18/09/15

Last friday, I've got my "Prácticas de redacción" classes, and there, our teacher explained to us how to make a topic, how to stract our first ideas about the topic (brainstorm), and how to connect each idea with each other (mapping). After all of this phase, we started to write an essay about the topic we made, following the instructions in the mapping phase. I think that I liked more to do the brainstorm exercise, because you can get a lot of ideas wich you can talk about, but the most thing I liked to do on Friday, was the writting exercise. I love to write about something, nevermind the topic, I just start writting till the end.
